Andy Cohen hinted at what fans can expect given the ongoing estrangement between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga on season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
During the “Ask Andy” panel at BravoCon 2023 on November 3, Cohen was asked about the upcoming season. “I think what’s refreshing about this season, and I actually found it kind of refreshing last season, is that they’re not even pretending,” he explained of Giudice and Gorga. “I mean, they just hate each other.”
“Once that’s done, it actually takes the energy out of the whole thing, and then you can move on and tell other stories about what happens this season,” he teased. “I think it will be really interesting for people [to see] because there are many new alliances. All the places change this season and I think it’s really interesting to watch.”

The feud between Melissa & Joe Gorga & Teresa Giudice reached new heights during Season 13 of RHONJ
The feud between Joe and Melissa Gorga and Giudice and Luis Ruelas reached its peak in Season 13. During the season, Giudice and Ruelas met with Joe Gorga to tell him that they had heard rumors about Melissa’s infidelity. In response, the Gorgas decided to skip Giudice and Ruelas’ wedding.
Melissa Gorga, who strongly denied the rumors, and Giudice traded shots during the RHONJ season 13 reunion. The show eventually took a short break before filming resumed on season 14. The two women reportedly avoided each other.
Accordingly PeopleFilming for the new season began in August 2023 and included the return of Giudice and Gorga. However, both women have made it clear that they are not open to a reconciliation and are done with each other.
Both RHONJ stars have said they did and won’t work to repair the relationship
Giudice and the Gorgas have both made it clear that they are unwilling to mend fences at this time and have severed ties with each other. At the RHONJ season 13 reunion, Giudice told her brother and sister-in-law, “I can’t wait to never look at your face again after today.”
Joe Gorga told his estranged sister, “You know what’s best? Forget me, I will forget you. That’s it. Do your thing, leave me alone, leave everyone alone, live your damn life.”
In fact, Melissa told Gorga People in February 2023 that she saw no solution between those involved and the “door was closed”. She described their long-running feud as “exhausting” and “toxic” and said she was completely over it. At the time, Gorga said she wished peace and happiness to the Giudice family and her marriage to Ruelas, but the Gorgas were “done.”
More recently, Giudice shared Access Hollywood at BravoCon 2023 that the “chapter on the Gorga situation is closed.” When asked if anything changed between the sisters-in-law during season 14, Giudice reiterated that the chapter was closed.
