Arsenal make a fringe player “untouchable” as the Champions League giants “close in” for the defender.

ARSENAL have reportedly claimed Jakub Kiwior is “untouchable” amid interest from two big Italian clubs.
The 23-year-old Poland international only joined the Gunners from Spezia in January in a deal worth £21 million.
He made 16 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s team, scoring one goal.
Despite starting two Premier League games so far this season, he remains a fringe player as Gabriel and William Saliba remain the trusted centre-back partnership.
As a result, Calcio Mercato journalist Daniele Longo has claimed that both AC Milan and Roma are interested in loaning him out.
It is understood they have proposed contracts to Arsenal for the defender to join them in January.
However, the Premier League club are said to have made it clear that he is not for sale.
Arteta’s men remain rather weak in the center of defense.
The reason for this is the long-term injury of new signing Jurrien Timber, who was out in August with a torn cruciate ligament and is not expected back in the foreseeable future.
Ben White can step in as the fourth-choice midfielder if Saliba, Gabriel and Kiwior are unavailable.

With three wins from four games, they are at the top of their Champions League group.
