Becky Vardy humiliated husband Jamie and racked up £3million in legal costs, and now she’s donating money to lavish holidays
Think of poor old JAMIE VARDY.
Not content with humiliating him in the dumbest court battle of the century against Coleen Rooney – racking up a bill of over £3million in the process – his delusional wife Becky is now rubbing salt in the wound with a series of expensive exotic holidays and lavish holidays Lifestyle choices that understandably raise eyebrows among friends.

Jamie is entering the final phase of his career with Leicester City, who are now playing in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League last year. The former England striker spends much of his time shivering on the bench in such glamorous hotspots as Rotherham and Blackburn and, this weekend, Middlesborough.
And while Becky was a regular at his Premier League games and enjoyed the full Wag treatment, I’m told she’s much less interested in moving to the second tier.
Instead, she has thrown herself into a new partying lifestyle while he sits in the pouring rain on a Tuesday evening.
A friend tells me: “He must be tearing his hair out.
“It’s like she hasn’t learned anything – her legal fees are astronomical and she just flaunts her wealth and glamorous vacations.”
Some of the most recent amusements Becky has posted online include a trip with friends to Las Vegas, where she enjoyed VIP tickets to Adele and Usher’s residences as well as seats at Magic Mike Live.
She also posed nude on the balcony of her suite at the luxury five-star Cosmopolitan hotel overlooking the Strip.
On the same trip she got a tattoo.
Three weeks earlier she had flown to Dubai with friends and said she wanted to avoid rival Coleen’s Disney+ documentary about her trial.
There she posed for more photos in a luxury hotel.
In August, she posted photos from a five-star trip to Portugal.
During Wagatha Christie’s trial, Coleen’s lawyers complained that Becky had asked for extra time to pay her bills.
When she was in Portugal, Jamie was preparing for the new season, the last of his two-year contract, so his future is up in the air.
The pal added: “He’s desperately fighting to move on and make lots of money while she screws up almost as quickly as he can manage it and he’s at the end of his deal.
“She seems to have no idea how much money it cost her and what that actually means.”
I did a quick bit of math for her.
Jamie earns £140,000 a week, just over £7million a year, but half of that goes towards taxes.
That means if he didn’t spend another dime this year, he would barely be able to cover the costs of their absurd lawsuit – and they already lead an expensive lifestyle.
That means the poor guy will have to find a very well-paying new contract for next season and beyond and probably keep playing until he’s about 53.
If I were Jamie’s agent, I would make a direct call to the hugely lucrative new Saudi Arabian league and ask if he, along with his former Premier League colleagues Cristiano Ronaldo, Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard, who is now a member of the Premier League, Manager could fly there for megadollars.
They would pay him handsomely, and Becky would have to stay out of trouble for once.
Win win.

VERNON EATS IT
AFTER nine weeks of training and two months of abstinence, Radio 2’s Vernon Kay today begins his mammoth Children In Need ultramarathon challenge, which will see him run 110 miles over four days.
He travels from Leicester to his hometown of Bolton as part of one of the channel’s most physically demanding fundraising events to date.

Last night in his hotel, Vernon told me: “I’m worried.
“In addition to the 110+ miles we cover, the elevation gain we cover is quite significant.
“I have three and a half suitcases full of all the clothes I need for any weather.
“I have more underwear than a man could ever dream of, and Vaseline for my nipples and everywhere else.”
“I’ve heard of crotch rot if you get wet and keep running, so I’m prepared for anything.”
Vernon will be cheered on from home by his wife Tess Daly, who raised more than £1million after dancing for 24 hours straight with her Strictly co-star Claudia Winkleman.
Vernon said: “Tess said to me, ‘You’re crazy for doing this’.”
“She did the 24-hour danceathon and her calves and back were still giving her a lot of momentum a year later, so she persisted
“I have to take care of myself.”

Filming isn’t great, BRIE
I’ve long been tired of the constant cycle of superhero films – and now it seems that viewers feel the same way.
The latest film, The Marvels, grossed just £38m in its first weekend in the US, the lowest opening of any film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

That number is down 67 percent compared to 2019’s Captain Marvel, which introduced Brie Larson’s character.
Analyst David A Gross said: “This is an unprecedented collapse for the Marvel box office.”
The new film, which also stars Zawe Ashton, is believed to have suffered from the actors’ strike, which has just ended and has left actors unable to promote it on talk shows or other interviews .
It also received lukewarm reviews from critics.
There is still a long way to go before the whopping £179 million spent on manufacturing can be recouped.
BEATLES ALSO FOR THE #1 ALBUM
THE BEATLES could score a double in the charts this Friday as they are on course to nab the No.1 album.
The Fab Four are already at the top of the singles charts with their latest song “Now And Then” and are on track for their 17th No. 1 album, according to Official Charts.

The reissue of their first greatest hits compilation, 1967-1970, commonly known as the Blue Album, is on its way to number one, having reached number two upon its release in 1973.
Only 1,000 copies sold are behind their second biggest hit album from 1962-1966, known as “Red Album”, which also reached number 3 in 1973.
A box set of both albums is also climbing the charts and landed at number 9 last night.
Even 63 years after its founding, there is no stopping it.

SACKING BLINDSIDED SLIPKNOT DRUMMER
SLIPKNOT’s ex-drummer Jay Weinberg said he was “heartbroken and blindsided” that he was unceremoniously expelled from the group after a decade.
The heavy metal band announced out of the blue this month that he would no longer be part of the group due to creative differences.

Now he has said that the decision is still difficult for him.
He wrote on Instagram: “I was heartbroken and completely surprised when I received the call on November 5th that most of you found out about shortly thereafter.”
“However, I was overwhelmed and truly grateful for how much love and support I received from this incredible community that I consider my creative and artistic home.”
