Brynn Whitfield opens up about Jenna Lyons’ RHONY future

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Brynn Whitfield addressed speculation that her castmate Jenna Lyons will not return after Season 14 of the Bravo series. As fans know, Lyons has decided not to attend BravoCon 2023, which takes place the weekend of November 3rd.

In an interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” Hosted by Emily Orozco, Whitfield was asked during BravoCon if she thinks Lyons “should come back” to RHONY.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Why isn’t Jenna here?’ Is she teasing us? Is she really not coming back?’ And that [season 14] See you, kind of helped us, okay, she’s not happy about it. A lot of people said that,” Orozco said.

Whitfield responded, “That’s just Jenna.” The Indiana native also indicated that she believes the fashion designer’s behavior is not an indication that she won’t be returning to RHONY in future seasons.

“She remains reserved, she is a little conservative. No, I think if we all came back, I wouldn’t see – why not. I don’t know, Jenna’s – I just think she’s cool,” Whitfield said.

When Orozco said she was “worried [Lyons is] Not” When Whitfield returned to RHONY, he said, “I’m not worried that she isn’t.”

“I think maybe she would. She’s just her own person – she has her very own charisma. She just does her thing. And that’s why I think she’s an incredible character, because it was so unlikely that someone like her existed. So she still plays the role of the unlikely one,” said the marketing consultant.

Jessel Taank shared her thoughts on Jenna Lyons’ possible return

RHONY star Jessel Taank also shared her thoughts on Lyon’s possible return to the Bravo series in a separate November 2023 interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.”She stated that she felt Lyons should continue to star in the franchise. Taank shared that she wanted fans to have more insight into Lyons’ background and personal life.

“She’s like an onion, she’s like a slow burner. I think Jenna is someone who takes a while to get comfortable with A) people and B) situations. And I think towards the end, as you know, with the reunion, she opens up a little bit more,” Taank said.

She continued that she is “thinking if [Lyons] is making a second season” of RHONY, fans of the series “will see a whole different side of Jenna.”

“I want to see the fucking diva Jenna,” Taank continued.

Jenna Lyons opened up about why she decided not to attend BravoCon

Lyons discussed her decision not to attend BravoCon 2023 despite appearing on Season 14 of RHONY. during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in November 2023. She said she had “some things to take care of,” which prevented her from coming to the fan convention in Las Vegas.

“I had some really important things to do, like twiddle my thumbs,” she said with a laugh.

The former J. Crew president clarified that she “had an event.”

“And I had some other personal things,” Lyons added.

Brynn Whitfield shared her thoughts about her RHONY castmate in an October 2023 interview

During Season 14 of RHONY, Whitfield constantly made flirtatious comments towards Lyons. While recording an October 2023 interview on “Vanderpump Rules” personality Scheana Shay’s podcast, “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay” Whitfield explained that she was not romantically interested in Lyons during production of RHONY Season 14. However, the 37-year-old said she started developing feelings for the fashion designer after the season 14 premiere of RHONY, even though Lyons and photographer Cass Bird are currently in a relationship.

“I started thinking about it and thought, ‘You know what, honestly, why not?’ Why didn’t I do it?’ I just told you [Lyons] In fact, last week at this party we were at, I thought, “You know what’s funny, when we were filming, we were joking.” I thought, “Now I actually kind of have a crush on you.” “I would 100 percent do,” the RHONY personality explained.
