Carl Froch reveals he googled his wife before they first met and then decided to take her to a strip club on their first date

CARL FROCH has revealed he took his wife to a strip club on their first date.
The British boxer also admitted that he googled Rachael Cordingley before they first met in 2009.
The couple met through a mutual friend when they went on a blind date.
Froch, 42, has since admitted he couldn’t wait to see what she looked like before their romantic encounter.
On his speaking YouTube channel Froch about fightingFroch said: “I googled her, looked her up and thought she looked good.”
“I’m going to have a little date with her.”
Luckily for the boxer, Rachael also admitted to seeking him out as well.
Before the London meeting, Froch had inadvertently doubled down as he was also due to meet a potential sponsor.
He still invited Rachael to dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant.
After a fun meal, they continued to enjoy the evening when Rachael revealed that they ended up at a strip club together.

She added: “Do you remember the end?
“We ended up going to a strip club. It was Spearmint Rhino, I think, whatever it was.”
“I’ll tell you what, it was great fun. I was dancing on the table and all the women came over and they sat on the table with me.”
To which Froch joked: “I was like, ‘What’s going on? “I’m world champion.”
The duo married in 2019 – five years after the ex-boxer proposed.
In August, they traveled to the Mediterranean for a romantic vacation to make the most of the summer weather.
During his career, Froch enforced a ban on sex while training for his fights.
At the time, Rachael said: “The sex ban is so hard for me – but Carl tells me it doesn’t bother him that much because he’s exhausted and it’s the last thing on his mind.”
“After waiting for so long, it’s really good that our sex life is back to normal and we can have that closeness again and have sex like a normal young couple.”
Froch retired in 2014 with a record of 33-2 after knocking out George Groves in front of over 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.
