Delivery Driver Hit by Glass After Gunman Opens Fire in Midtown; there were no arrests

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) — There was a shooting in Midtown early Tuesday morning, in which a delivery driver was injured by flying glass.
According to investigators, the first shots were fired near 36th Street and 7th Avenue when a man on a bicycle shot at another man on a bicycle around 1:30 a.m
Instead, two bullets hit the van and the driver drove away toward 30th and 7th.

According to police, one of the shots shattered the van’s windshield and the glass cut the 32-year-old driver’s face.
This man was seen walking himself to the ambulance as help arrived at the scene. He is expected to recover.
The shooter fled west on 36th Street.
According to authorities, the man on the bicycle who appeared to be the target of this shooting did not appear to be injured.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting.
