Driver charged with involuntary manslaughter after fatal crash in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A woman is facing manslaughter charges for a fatal April crash in Lancaster County that involved three vehicles.

According to Susquehanna Township police, Molly Duffy, 19, of Elizabethtown, was the driver of a vehicle in a two-motorcycle crash at the intersection of River Road and Turnpike Road in Conoy Township on April 15.

One of the drivers, a 37-year-old man, was found dead at the scene by first responders, while another suffered serious injuries, the release said.

Duffy is charged with involuntary manslaughter, drunken driving and a summary charge of criminal negligence causing death, court documents say. She is free on $250,000 bail.

Her formal arraignment is scheduled for December 8th.
