Fire in Brooklyn: Several people injured after a fire destroyed an apartment building

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) — Several people were injured in a fire at a Brooklyn apartment building on Monday.

The flames broke out in the apartment building at 390 Georgia Avenue in East New York shortly before 8 p.m.

The Citizen App video shows smoke rising from the crime scene.

The fire triggered two alarms before firefighters were able to put it down.

Several people were injured. There is no information yet about her condition.

The FDNY is trying to determine how the fire started.
