Greta Thunberg sparks anger over climate protest by wearing Palestinian scarf and calling for ceasefire in Gaza

GRETA Thunberg sparked anger at a climate protest by wearing a Palestinian scarf and calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The 20-year-old eco-protester’s speech in Amsterdam was interrupted by a man who grabbed her microphone.
He told her: “I came because of a climate demonstration, not because of a political opinion.”
Volker Becker, president of the German-Israeli Society DIG, said her outburst meant “the end of Greta Thunberg as a climate activist.”
He added: “From now on, their main task is to hate Israel.” The Israeli embassy in Germany said it was “again abusing the climate stage for its own purposes.”
The Israeli embassy in Germany also wrote on X that it was “sad that Greta Thunberg is once again abusing the climate stage for her own purposes.”
