Has IShowSpeed been banned on Instagram? Internet celebrities’ accounts disappear due to fan speculation
Fans of popular YouTuber IShowSpeed have discovered that his Instagram account is no longer accessible, leading many to speculate whether he has been banned.
American YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr., known online as “IShowSpeed“, became famous in 2021 for his dramatic outbursts and meltdowns on stream.
However, his hotheaded online personality has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion, and IShowSpeed has faced disciplinary action from platforms on multiple occasions for his antics.
Now it looks like he’s gotten himself into trouble again, as fans of the YouTuber have noticed that both his main and burner Instagram accounts have mysteriously disappeared.

On Twitter, fans shared screenshots of the IShowSpeed account, which appears to have been deleted from the platform. When the link to his Instagram is clicked, the following message appears: “Unfortunately, this page is unavailable. The link you followed may be broken or the page may have been removed.”
It is currently unclear whether the YouTuber deactivated the accounts himself or whether Instagram took action against IShowSpeed. However, given his past controversies, many assume it was at a later date.

There have been reports online about him being banned from the platform, but these are yet to be verified or confirmed by IShowSpeed.
This wouldn’t be the first time IShowSpeed has lost access to a platform, earning multiple bans from YouTube as well as permanent bans from Valorant and Twitch.
Why he would have lost his Instagram accounts remains to be clarified. Certain speculations suggest that IShowSpeed may have been banned for political commentary, but these claims remain unproven at the time of writing, so be sure to take them with a grain of salt.
