Although static caravans aren’t usually associated with glamorous getaways, one woman has transformed her caravan into a stunning one Airbnb – which even has a five-star rating.

Ironically, this trailer had been sent to the scrapyard until Amy Towns and her partner realized how much potential it had.
Although the couple had originally dreamed of creating a small home, they ultimately decided to convert it into a rural retreat.
However, it needed much more than just a coat of paint and the renovation was a laborious process despite the space being so small.
In a now-viral video on TikTok, Amy showed how she and her partner had to gut the entire trailer – adding additional fixtures and replacing the flooring.
She even added rustic larch siding to transform the trailer into a cozy cabin.
To further bring the outdoors indoors, the future hostess also used oak beams, driftwood and even an electric fire to give the home more of a cottage feel.
As the caravan overlooks the Irish Sea, she also took inspiration from the stunning Welsh coastline and even added hand-collected seashells to enrich the interior.
Despite the setbacks, the once dilapidated house is now a stunning Welsh retreat, just minutes from the village of St David’s.
The caravan has now been renamed Caban Y Môr, which translates to ‘Cabin of the Sea’, and even boasts a five-star rating on AirBnb.
Despite its small square footage, the space features a large living space, bathroom, and open dining area.
There are plenty of amenities inside too, as the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge and even an air fryer – just in case you get particularly hungry.
A restful night is also guaranteed because the bedroom has a huge king-size bed and the sofa can also be converted into a double bed.
For those who want to vacation with the family next In summer there is also a large terrace with cliff views and a lawn where the children can play.
However, you’ll need to book soon as the site is available from just £100 per night and is in near constant demand.
Given its coastal charm and stunning design, it’s no surprise that the cabin is highly rated on AirBnb and has an average score of 4.95 on the site.
Fans are also raving about the cozy caravan on TikTok: a video of the idyllic retreat has been viewed over 61,000 times.
One user even wrote: “Absolutely beautiful. You should be proud of yourself! It looks amazing!”
“That’s amazing… not far from me, I’d like to stay here,” enthused Future Guest.
It seems others will also be using Amy’s video as inspiration for their own caravan conversions, with a third commenting: “Stunning… well done. We are moving into our house on March 1stst Let’s start then.”
