I was told a “mommy makeover” would cost $20,000 to $30,000 – but I’m not changing my mom’s belly, I love the way my body looks

A mother has scoffed at the idea of spending thousands of dollars on a mommy makeover.

She believed that not only was the cost absurd, but she was also simply happy with her mother’s belly.

Rachel (@themrspedersen) shared the video with over 1.3 million TikTok followers.

The mother received a consultation for a tummy tuck but was shocked to hear the price of the procedure.

“I was told a ‘mommy makeover’ would cost $20,000 to $30,000,” she said.

However, the influencer didn’t think she needed the procedure at all and revealed that she was happy with her body.

Still, Rachel didn’t shame the people who decided to get the mommy makeover: “I’m all about living your best life and being confident in your own skin,” she explained.

She danced and showed off her midriff in a black crop top and pink sweatpants, revealing that she decided to do what was best for her: “So I decided to do it!” she said.

“To live your best life and be confident in your own skin,” she added cheekily, patting her stomach.

“I love how my body looks! It took years, I’m not going to change my mom’s belly.”

People took to the comments to show their support for her inspiring decision.

“Wow, I liked you before, I love you now. This is an inspiration,” said one admirer.

Others agreed that there was nothing wrong with her stomach and that it should be praised.

“Your babies grew up there! I love it so much!” said a supportive viewer.

“I LOVE THAT. The world, the internet, moms, women, everyone needs more of this! Let’s normalize by LOVING our real bodies!!” said another.

However, the mother did not think she needed the procedure and was happy with her appearance
