If you’re a “lazy driver” like me, you’ll love my winter parking hack that makes leaving the house on icy mornings SO easy

A SMART mum has shared what she calls her parking trick for lazy drivers for icy mornings.
Cathy Pedrayes, who goes by “The Mom Friend” on TikTok, revealed the simple step that will make your life a lot easier during the winter months.
The influencer revealed that the key to success is how far along the driveway you have to park your car.
She said: “If you have a long driveway and it’s going to snow overnight, park at the end of the driveway and away from your house.”
“When you leave, you don’t have to shovel as much to get out.”
Cathy said you can use the same trick for your snow plow or blower.
Users flocked to the comments section praising the mother for the smart move.
One follower wrote: “This is so helpful omg!”
Another added: “We parked our cars in the middle of the driveway, both reversing and my husband’s car closer to the road.”
“So much easier than normal.”
But some TikTok users spoke out against the idea.
One person commented: “But this is also easy for criminals to steal if they don’t have to shovel so much.”
Another said: “If I did that I would have to walk half a mile to get to my car.”
But Cathy quickly responded and said: “But what’s the alternative? Shovel half a mile? That would be terrible if you didn’t have a plow.”
A driving instructor has now revealed the worst place to put your foot when driving in winter.
Content creator DGN Driving took to TikTok to share the genius hacks to avoid a mishap in freezing temperatures.
Dangerous driving conditions can occur more frequently in the winter, putting drivers at greater risk.
For this reason, car owners should plan their trip in advance before boarding their vehicle.
Luckily, a driving expert has shared five tips to avoid an accident in frosty conditions.
In a TikTok video, the driving instructor revealed the worst place for drivers to place their feet when driving on ice – too far on the accelerator pedal.
In the video, the man said: “Five tips for driving in the snow. Many people don’t do the last one.”
The tip he says is to drive as slowly as possible, put it in higher gear and accelerate slowly.
Drivers should drive particularly slowly when cornering, otherwise they can easily lose control.
On the straight, you should always brake progressively before reaching a corner.
