I’m A Celeb’s Josie Gibson fights back tears after emotional farewell to son Reggie and asks: “What have I done?”

JOSIE Gibson fought back tears as she filmed a farewell video for This Morning before leaving for Australia.
The emotional presenter, 38, admitted she questioned her decision to do I’m A Celebrity as she prepared to leave after leaving her son Reggie.
Filming a video in her car at the airport, Josie said: “The rumors are true, I’m going to the jungle. I have just arrived at Heathrow Airport.
“I said an emotional goodbye to Reggie and I keep thinking, ‘What was done?’ What did I sign up for?’. I just hope I’m a survivor.
“Thank you for all your support. I just hope I can get through this because I can’t stand creepy crawlies, I don’t like heights, I don’t like rats, I don’t like snakes, so wish me luck.”
When she landed in Australia, Josie was just as emotional about leaving her five-year-old behind.

When asked what she will miss most, she said: “Of course my little boy, saying goodbye was really emotional. I can’t talk about it, it’s too emotional.”
She joked that she was in the country for a “weight loss retreat” and laughed when asked “if rice and beans were part of the program.”
Back in July, The Sun revealed how This Morning presenter Josie had secured a sweet jungle deal.
An ITV insider said: “Josie is hugely popular with This Morning viewers and producers were determined to get her.

“She is seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she is already such a well-known face on ITV and will bring her fan base with her.
“She is incredibly down-to-earth and seems to strike a chord with people at home. They’re also confident that Josie will bring laughs on I’m A Celebrity, as she does on This Morning, and is guaranteed to get on with most of the jungle campmates.
