Kathy Beale rocked as she was arrested by police in EastEnders

ALBERT Square has lost its iconic cafe after it was destroyed by a devastating fire.
EastEnders legend and cafe owner Kathy Beale is arrested by police who are convinced of her involvement in the fire.
Money is tight for Kathy Beale (played by Gillian Taylforth) and her new husband Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley).
The couple agreed to give Rocky’s ex-wife Jo £50,000 to keep quiet about his bigamy.
Rocky only made matters worse when he got involved with loan shark Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) as his burgeoning gambling addiction spiraled out of control.
But instead of telling his wife what a mess he was in, Rocky decided to pay off his mountain of debt by setting fire to their cafe and claiming the insurance money.
How will he react next week when Kathy has to pay for his actions?
On BBC One, the Beales are distraught because a resident’s life is at stake.
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) blames Kathy for the incident.
She storms back to Walford after witnessing a heartfelt moment between Kathy and her husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Upon returning to Walford earlier this year after being presumed dead, Cindy found herself in a heated argument with Kathy, who was unable to put the past behind her.
The two women hit each other in an angry display of rivalry as Kathy was shocked that her son Ian was taking Cindy back.
But could their relationship get any worse?
Meanwhile, at The Vic, George Knight (Colin Salmon) comforts Cindy and encourages her to go back to the hospital after telling some truths about her behavior.
Back at the hospital, Cindy appears to have forgiven Kathy as she and Ian put the day’s earlier events behind them.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long before the police arrive and arrest Kathy for her involvement in the fire – is there more to the situation than meets the eye?
Later, news of Kathy’s arrest spreads around the square as she was questioned at the police station throughout the night.
