Rapist Dean Wicks was left for dead after a shocking battle in EastEnders

SOAP viewers have suspected that Dean Wicks is in for a massive death twist after his bombshell return.
And they could be proven in EastEnders next week as the rapist faces death after an explosive argument.
Matt Di Angelo reprized his role in the BBC One soap in time to give viewers, and especially Linda Carter, a major scare this Halloween.
But during his return it turned out that he was Cindy Beale’s new business partner and they decided to open a cake and mashed potato shop.
Despite protests from residents around her, including her two daughters Anna and Gina, Cindy had no choice but to continue the business.
Next week is opening day for the Beales’ pie and mash shop, but Dean is furious when he sees the word “rapist” in graffiti on the window – a reference to a crime he committed during his last stay in Walford committed.
Dean is sure it’s Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and has a nasty confrontation with her and the Knights in front of a crowd, declaring he can sue the landlady for defamation.
As regular viewers of the London-set drama will remember, Dean was never convicted of raping Linda, meaning she faces serious legal consequences even though she is in fact his victim.
Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and George Knight (Colin Salmon) fear legal action could result in her losing the pub.
After Linda seeks advice from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), she reluctantly forms a truce with Dean.
When their efforts to calm the situation fail, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Cindy (Michelle Collins) urge Dean to give in or their business will never get off the ground.
But during a tense argument upstairs at The Vic, George punches Dean, who falls down the stairs and lies motionless at the bottom of the stairwell.
Linda, George and Cindy are in shock as they rush to Dean – will he survive?
Could the former world boxing champion have killed Dean?
Soap watchers suspected Dean could be the unidentified male victim at the center of this year’s Christmas murders.
Many theories emerged that Linda could finally take revenge on her rapist with the help of Sharon Watts, Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Denise Fox and Dean’s former lover Stacey Slater.
But could Dean have been a red herring all along?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One.
