Strict judges in new legal dispute as they are accused of “bullying” a participant

STRICTLY fans have angered the judges after Nigel Harman received a devastatingly low score for his performance in Blackpool.
Hundreds of viewers have complained on social media after the panel criticized the EastEnders star, with one saying: “It’s borderline bullying.”
Nigel and his professional dance partner Katya Jones’ performance of It Don’t Mean A Thing by Duke Ellington placed them second on the judges’ list.
The actor was visibly disappointed as Craig Revel Horwood said: “The footwork, my dear – it went pretty wrong.”
He hung his head as Anton Du Beke added: “Well, it’s a shame because you’re such a brilliant dancer. It’s just unbelievable and then you made a few mistakes.”
Fans immediately rushed to
One viewer wrote: “This show is terrible, rigged for Layton and the judges deliberately bully Nigel to break him.”
“Don’t they know the problem has been fixed and the jury already knows the winner,” said a second.
A third commented: “#Strictly is fixed.”
Despite his score of 31 out of 40, he managed to escape the dance-off at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool thanks to viewers’ votes.
Instead, it was Angela Rippon, 79, and Bobby Brazier, 20, who were forced to leave again – and Angela and her partner Kai Widdrington were thrown out.
Last month, Layton angrily hit back at claims for damages, insisting he had no “unfair advantage” over his competitors.
When a clip was posted on the official Strictly Instagram, many angry fans were quick to voice their thoughts about the star already being a cast member.
But someone defended Layton, writing: “It’s really sad to see how many people in the comments are helping to ruin his Strictly experience.”
And Layton replied defiantly: “Literally. Relax. It’s just a TV show.”
