Recently Tesco released a new ‘Value’ oodie for Christmas and people seem to have a mixed reaction to it.

There’s a big ‘Tesco Value’ slogan on the front and the inside is cozy – some say it would make the perfect Secret Santa gift.

The cozy top comes in supermarket colors blue, white and red and costs £15.

Debbie grabbed one for her son and shared the purchase Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

“Perfect for my son for Christmas to match his inexpensive socks,” she wrote.

“And just to let people know, no ginger was harmed in this purchase as he has a sense of humor and will actually wear it!”

The post immediately sparked a debate, with people divided over whether they liked it or not.

Some insisted they needed to head to Tesco straight away, while others said it was the perfect Secret Santa gift.

“I love it,” one wrote.

“Are they adults or children? I have to find it,” another asked.

Debbie replied: “Definitely adults, only one size and it’s huge!”

“My son wants one, he’s also one of the weirdos who bought the Primark/Greggs stuff (just to wear indoors),” a third commented.

“We did the same thing for my son last year when Primark did the Greggs stuff. He has Greggs pajamas and lots of socks!” someone else laughed.

“For Secret Santa?” another wrote, tagging his friend.

“I hope I can get you into Secret Santa!” someone else joked.

“I love it! I would wear it if I had one!” another commented.

“I had the Christmas sweater for work one year,” someone else said.

“My daughter works in a Tesco Express, she said she wears one to work because she’s always cold,” wrote another.

“My son has the socks and he’s getting the t-shirt for his birthday, I think I need one of these for my birthday too,” another laughed.

“I saw this the other day and thought it was hilarious!! I’m actually thinking about giving it to my 12 year old,” said another.
