Clare Crawley and Ryan Dawkins are expecting a baby girl in January.

Former “Bachelorette” star Clare Crawley is expecting her first child via surrogate in January. Crawley married Ryan Dawkins in February and the couple announced the pregnancy in July.

While Crawley and Dawkins await the birth of their baby, the former Bachelor in Paradise star has been busy sharing updates. A recent update was beautiful and emotional.

Here’s what you need to know:

Clare Crawley and Ryan Dawkins saw their baby in 3D ultrasound

On November 6, “The Bachelorette” star shared some fun tidbits about her Instagram Stories. Her first posts showed her working on a sewing project and she noted that she was starting to care for her mother. She shared the end result, a linen apron, and then gave fans the real good stuff.

Crawley revealed: “Also!!!!! We can see a little girl in 3D ultrasound today!! I’m counting down the minutes, so I had to keep busy!” Soon after, she teased, “Okay, do you want to see them?!” I can’t do anything with her little lips and cheeks!”

Next, the former Bachelor in Paradise star shared a still from the 3D ultrasound with her baby’s surrogate. “She sucked her thumb for a while… and then she put her little hand behind her head and fell asleep,” Crawley wrote. She also pointed out her little girl’s elbow in the picture.

“The Bachelor” fans on Reddit raved about Crawley’s Instagram Stories.

one Redditor commented“That’s so wonderful, I’m so happy for her!”

“It’s so amazing/crazy to me that we live in a time where people can see their babies in the womb and technology is getting better and better. What a very special gift,” another Redditor shared.

“Precious 😭”, someone else added.

Crawley also shared a powerful quote

Not long after the ultrasound photo, Crawley shared a quote from Zanna Keithley that clearly meant a lot to her. The quote read, among other things: “All I can tell you is that it’s worth it.” Be brave. Stay out there. Follow your heart… Even the stories that don’t end happily – they’re still worth telling.”

The last sentence of the passage was, “Don’t deny yourself the chance to truly live.”

Bachelor Nation fans know that Crawley has had quite a challenging road to get to where she is in her life. She appeared on shows in the franchise several times, starting with Juan Pablo Galavis’ journey as “The Bachelor” in 2014.

Us Weekly noted that Crawley finished second in the Galavis season and the two did not end well. She then appeared on two seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise” and “The Bachelor Winter Games” in 2018. She ended up getting engaged to Benoit Beausejour-Savard, but the relationship didn’t last long.

In 2020, Crawley was selected as “Bachelorette” for season 16. Just as she was about to start filming, production was halted due to Covid-19. When she started filming, she fell head over heels in love with contestant Dale Moss. The two got engaged less than two weeks after filming began and after many ups and downs, that relationship also ended.

Despite the obstacles she overcame to find the life she longed for, Crawley continued to push forward. Now she is happily married to the man of her dreams and a little girl will soon join the family.
