Madeline has challenged herself by climbing Mount Celeste. There are no enemies and no bosses. It’s just you and the mountain’s platforming challenges and secrets.

The mountain is a metaphor for anxiety and depression, which are depicted tastefully and accurately. There’s even some excellent LGBTQ+ representation. While the game is challenging, it never feels unfair and uses its difficulty to express a powerful message about not giving up.
