The common snack that can increase your sex drive and improve orgasms

Eating nuts could improve sex life, a study says.
Scientists have found that folic acid can increase sex drive and improve orgasm – especially in postmenopausal women.
Peanuts, hazelnuts and walnuts are rich in the nutrient.
Peas, beans, bread, eggs and leafy greens are also high in folic acid, a B vitamin also known as folic acid.
The Iranian study involved 100 middle-aged women.
Half were given a 5 mg folic acid supplement daily for eight weeks, while the others took a fake pill.

Dr. Hedyeh Riazi wrote in the Journal of Sexual Medicine that desire, orgasms, satisfaction and arousal improved more in the folate group.
She said: “Our results suggest that folic acid may improve sexual function in postmenopausal women.
“Larger studies are needed to confirm this.”
Previous studies show that folic acid may help men combat erectile dysfunction by improving blood flow.
The nutritionist Dr. Carrie Ruxton said: “This may be more of a mental thing than a physiological one, as we have a lot of data on the benefits of B vitamins for mood and mental health.”
“Let’s face it: women have to be in the right frame of mind to get there, and otherwise they won’t be very happy. The women in this study consumed a lot of folic acid and you would probably need 33 cups of nuts to get that much, but there are other great sources too.
“Postmenopausal women may benefit from B vitamin supplementation.
“Other good sources include white bread, eggs, orange juice, and spinach and kale.”
