Critically acclaimed video game sequels like Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 And The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom lead the nomination list for the Game Awards 2023.
Announced on his official YouTube channel, The Game Awards, hosted by Geoff Keighley announced the nominees for this year’s awards ceremonies. In the 31 categories, sequels to large and small franchises dominate the list. Alan Wake 2 And Baldur’s Gate 3 are neck and neck with eight nominations – including Game of the Year. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, The game, which was highly praised in early May, received five nominations, including Game of the Year. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is also nominated for Game of the Year, alongside other categories such as Best Action/Adventure, Best Narrative and Innovation in Accessibility.

The event not only recognizes excellence in the video game industry, but also serves as a space for the release of new video game premieres.
