Fortnite has an incredible amount of cosmetics, but sometimes some of these items cannot be purchased with all V-Bucks on the Fortnite island. This is where we walk through Top 10 rarest Fortnite gliders which you can have in your locker in 2023.
10. Down
The Get Down Glider is all about glitz and glamor and will be released as part of the Season 2 Battle Pass in Chapter 1.
This is another glider that was originally presented in 2017. However, players could not purchase it in the item shop and instead had to reach level 14 in the Battle Pass to unlock it. Since the game was still in its early stages, not many players invested in purchasing the Premium Battle Pass and may have never received it. Get Down was also the first glider included in a Battle Pass!
It has never appeared in the item shop, making the Get Down glider one of the rarest in Fortnite to date.
9. Sir Glider the Brave
Sir Glider the Brave not only has an epic name, but also a stylish, medieval design that fits the original theme of Fortnite Battle Royale, which is why so many “Knight” skins appear in the game The rarest Fortnite skins You can own it now.
This glider is rare for the same reasons as the Knight skins, because it fits in so well. It appeared early on in Fortnite Battle Royale and few players ever really got to grips with it. Additionally, you had to reach level 35 of the Season 2 Battle Pass to unlock it, meaning those who didn’t pay for the Premium Pass would miss out entirely.
8. Flabby
The Flappy Glider was a PlayStation exclusive for players who redeemed PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack #3 for $9.99 in September 2018.
Flappy is a reskin of the Googly glider! Googly appears in the item shop fairly regularly, but Flappy does not. Flappy was only available in the PlayStation bundle, which also included the Artifact Contrail and Controller Pickaxe. This blue glider with googly eyes is cute but pretty plain and isn’t seen much these days. If you own one of these flappy gliders, you are very lucky as it is one of the rarest on the market.
7. Strassreiter
The Rhinestone Rider Glider looks like your mom’s old rhinestone-studded denim pants that she wore in the ’90s. Just like these jeans, this umbrella isn’t for everyone. It was available in the item shop in January 2023 for 500 V-Bucks, but only appears about once a year.
Since it’s not the most exciting glider, chances are that if you own it, you’re probably one of very few players who own it. While it’s inexpensive and might appeal to some players, it’s not a popular glider and so we don’t see it in use often. The Rhinestone Rider may not look like it, but it is one of the rarest Fortnite gliders in 2023.
6. Rainbow Rider
The Rainbow Rider has become popular with streamers for its colorful rainbows, stars and sprinkles, but its carefree design won’t appeal to everyone.
It was available as part of the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass and unlocked at level 15. Rainbow Rider was never made available for purchase in the Item Shop, making him one of the rarer gliders in Fortnite at the moment. A lot of players want him to come back because he’s such a cool looking glider!
The glider is part of the Sunshine and Rainbows set, which includes the Brite Bomber and Rainbow Smash pickaxe. Although the rest of the set appeared in the item shop several times, the Rainbow Rider never returned.
5. Diamond bangs
The Diamond Pony Glider is a Gaming Legends Glider and was released in the Item Shop for a week in April 2022.
This amazing glider has not been seen in the Item Shop since its first appearance in Chapter 3, Season 2, and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of it returning yet. It costs 1,200 V-Bucks, making it a pretty expensive glider, but if you love ponies and all things sparkly and rainbow, then it’s the perfect glider for you. This glider is actually part of the Mayhem set introduced in a brief Borderlands crossover with Fortnite, and could also be unlocked by purchasing the spin-off game Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Diamond Pony is one of the few rideable gliders in Fortnite and makes a magical neighing sound when riding.
4. Rotor
The Rotor Glider is part of the Double Helix set, released exclusively as part of a Nintendo Switch console bundle. This release occurred during Season 6 of Fortnite Chapter 1, during what many would consider to be the peak of Fortnite’s popularity.
Despite launching at the height of its popularity, the Rotor Glider remains extremely rare as so few people would bother purchasing the Nintendo Switch hardware bundle specifically for the Double Helix cosmetics. If you see one being used in a lobby, you’re very lucky!
The Rotor Glider has never been available in the item shop, making it one of the rarest Fortnite gliders today.
3. Discovery Gliders
The Discovery Glider was one of the first of its kind. It could not be purchased in the item shop or unlocked as part of the Battle Pass. In November 2018, it was free for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4 players. For the same reason, the Galaxy skin is currently one of the rarest in the game.
This is also one of the most visually impressive gliders in the game. In the Discovery Glider, the stars change as you soar through the sky.
2. Stealth pivot
The Stealth Pivot glider was part of a package only available to players who purchased a GeForce GTX graphics card.
Anyone who bought one of the GeForce graphics cards in 2017 received a code included with their purchase. This code could then be redeemed for 2,000 V Bucks and a full Counterattack cosmetic pack. The package included:
- Reflex outfit
- Stealth pivot glider
- Square axe
- “Reaction Unit” back accessory.
Since this was a limited time special edition pack, not many players use this pack or even own it. The regular Pivot glider is still considered a rare glider, but this stealth version is virtually invisible today.
1. Beast Brella
The Beast Brella takes our top spot because there are literally only 100,000 people owning this glider, making it extremely rare!
The beast Brella is not available for purchase and will never be available in the item shop. It was introduced as a reward for the first 100,000 players to complete the Mr Beast Extreme Survival Challenge in Creative Mode. This competition was open to all Fortnite players in December 2022, and those skilled (or patient!) enough to win Mr. Beast’s challenging creative card would receive one of these epic gliders. Nowadays it is very rare to see anyone using this glider.
