Pelvic inflammatory disease is an infection of the upper genital tract that is very painful. Love Island has not confirmed that this illness is the reason Megan had to leave the show, but it seems to be the culprit. Megan could still return to the villa, at least in theory, although no announcement has been made about whether or not she will. It’s also possible that she could return in a later season, as her appearance on the show was put on hold due to health reasons. Fans will just have to wait and see what happens. In the meantime, we wish Megan all the best and hope she makes a full recovery.
