xQc pushes back against Nadia’s defense of Pokimane amid backlash over cookie prices

Kickstar Felix “xQc” Lengyel weighed in on Twitch streamer Pokimane’s ongoing cookie fiasco by taking aim at Nadia’s comments on the controversy.
Pokimane’s launch of her Myna Snacks cookies has been rocky, with the streamer coming under fire for the product’s price and its similarities to another item found at Costco.
Although Pokimane and a Myna spokesperson explained that the cookies’ recipe was unique and not a “drop-shipped product,” the debate over pricing continued, with the streamer even jokingly mocking “broke” fans who complained about it were upset to pay $7 per bag.

To Pokimanes Comments went viral As backlash spread, some streamers, such as Nadia, defended the Twitch icon and suggested she was being targeted for sexism. This didn’t sit well with xQc, who denied these claims.
You have people like N3on, Jack, Sneako who average thousands of viewers and do nothing but spread negativity and harass people in public, but when a girl sells cookies, do you all want to raise her voice? The immense hatred of women online has gotten out of control. https://t.co/IYaOcXkFDZ

Yes, it’s easier for us to advertise, but it’s almost impossible to reach the top. The standards set for us are extreme. However, the men at the top can say/do anything without any consequences.”
Yes, Nadia, it is the hatred of women that has given the cookies their price. Coincidentally, it is also the hatred of women that has led to everyone living paycheck to paycheck and not being able to afford luxury goods. There is no legitimate criticism here, tell them, Queen 👸
