Zelda fans fear that Tom Holland, who plays Link in a live-action film, is actually real
In the wake of The Super Mario Bros. movie In unveiling its most bizarre cast list of 2021, fans have thrown out the darkest ideas for upcoming video game movies, and the latest appears to be Tom Holland as Link.
The internet is obsessed with the idea of Spider-Man taking off his suit and donning his sword and shield for Nintendo and Sony’s upcoming film The Legend of Zelda film, but for most this obsession is born out of fear.
It’s worth noting that as of today, Nintendo has yet to announce any of the cast members for the upcoming live-action Zelda Movie. Given what little we know about this film, it’s likely that no one has currently been cast in the role of Link, but even with what we know, speculation has begun.
In 2022, Zelda fans were fooled into thinking Holland was playing Link Thanks to a viral FAI poster that made the rounds on social media. Of course, now that there’s a real film in the works, this poster is making the rounds again.
The reason for Tom Holland’s fire this time is the fact that Avi Arad is producing the film. He previously worked as a producer for several of the biggest Dutch films, including “The Spider-Man trilogy and Unexplored. We’d like to reiterate that this doesn’t mean he’ll be playing Link; You can relax first.
Holland is not the only well-known star who is experiencing a social upswing Zelda Film announcement. Chris Pratt is also living a second life as Nintendo fans joke that he should play another icon.

We definitely can, and that’s a reality we don’t want to live in. Luckily, the chances of Pratt starring in this film are almost nil.
The good news: Derek Connolly is writing the screenplay for the film. He previously worked on the 2019 hit Pokémon Detective PikachuSo we would say it is in the hands of someone who understands it Zelda.
